Welcome to SciTech!
For over three decades, SciTech captivated audiences as a physical museum in Aurora. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic compelled us to reimagine our approach. Introducing the new SciTech—no longer confined to a building but a dynamic, mobile STEM program. This shift represents our commitment to spreading the wonders of science and technology across the Fox Valley area.
At SciTech, we're committed to bringing the wonders of STEM directly to you. Our mission: fueling the curiosity of our youth and igniting their passion for STEM learning through mobile initiatives and community engagement. Our new approach allows us to travel far and wide, reaching communities, schools, and events, offering interactive and immersive STEM experiences throughout the Fox Valley area.

One Child at a Time
Our hands-on STEMshops are the perfect place for young minds to explore and learn about the world around us. Each year we follow a new theme, presenting challenges and opportunities for kids to experiment and create. Our program is designed to foster curiosity and critical thinking skills, all in a fun and engaging way. In 2024, our programs reached 2,200 participants. In 2025, our programs have reached 8,000 participants and counting!
