Grades 6-12 STEM4 U Motion Lab

In this hands-on and supportive STEM class for middle & high school participants, students will explore the core principles of physics and force through engaging, accessible activities designed for curious minds. Participants will investigate how objects move and interact by experimenting with motion, gravity, friction, and simple machines. Through guided challenges and open-ended exploration, students will build, test, and improve their designs—learning how force, energy, and motion shape the world around us. This sensory-friendly class offers a welcoming environment with plenty of opportunities for movement, tactile learning, and visual support—perfect for students who thrive with a more thoughtful, paced approach to learning. Whether building ramps, launching objects, or creating chain reactions, students will gain confidence as they explore science through creativity and hands-on discovery.
