STEM4U Grades 6-12 Circuits & Codes

In this hands-on and supportive STEM class, students will dive into the exciting world of circuits and early coding at a comfortable, learner-centered pace. Through interactive, sensory-friendly activities, participants will experiment with light-up circuits, simple switches, and beginner coding tools that make commands come to life. They’ll explore how electricity flows, how patterns and sequences create code, and how their own ideas can power movement, light, and sound. The class emphasizes exploration, creativity, and understanding, offering plenty of opportunities for movement, tactile play, visual supports, and guided discovery—all designed to meet the diverse needs of every student.
