STEM4U Grades 6-12 March: Mad Science Lab

Uniquely adapted STEM classes increasing STEM accessibility for all designed for participants with unique needs or disabilities. Class size will be capped at 8 participants to ensure a small learning environment and individualized attention.

In this hands-on and supportive STEM class, students will explore the fascinating world of matter, chemical reactions, and polymers at a comfortable, accessible pace. Participants will investigate solids, liquids, and gases, experiment with physical and chemical changes, and create polymers using safe, hands-on materials. Through mixing, molding, and observing, students will see how materials transform, test their ideas, and explore cause-and-effect in real time. The class encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and scientific thinking, with plenty of opportunities for tactile exploration, visual supports, and flexible activities—making chemistry engaging, meaningful, and accessible for every learner.
