About the event
Uniquely adapted STEM classes increasing STEM accessibility for all designed for participants with unique needs or disabilities. Class size will be capped at 8 participants to ensure a small learning environment and individualized attention.
In this hands-on STEM class, students will explore how animals adapt to survive and how humans can learn from nature. Through sensory-rich activities, participants will investigate animal features, camouflage, movement, and adaptations. Using tactile materials, interactive games, and simple building challenges, children will experiment with creating their own animal-inspired designs. The class encourages curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving at a comfortable, accessible pace. Students explore cause-and-effect, observation, and collaboration through movement, sensory play, and visual supports, making STEM accessible and fun for all learners.
